Saturday's tasting is a mouthful. The wines themselves are on the lighter & brighter side (the most robust of the bunch is an orange wine produced from the trebbiano grape), but for the life of me, I can't pronounce a single one of them. I even manage to make La Staffa sound stiffly foreign, like an American tourist with wooden jowls.
Fortunately, you don't have to pronounce the wines correctly in order to sample them. And even better, they taste amazing! They arrived with the latest shipment from SelectioNaturel, a tidy collection of "real wine that is naturally made," mostly coming from Italy. So bring your passport and travel all over Italy with us. And test Kelly's pronunciation.
