High and low. It's a great American tradition, bringing together disparate elements and finding beauty in the tension between them. Something to do with our origins, maybe, a people forever reinventing themselves in novel contexts. In that spirit, we're throwing down at Dino's with burgers and Beaujolais. I'd like you to join us.
Included in the ticket price ($30) is a basket of three juicy burgers, fries, and five scrumptious wines. It's a sublime union, worthy of the novice and the expert alike.
The event will be about an hour, in the garden, at twilight. We'll talk about the wines, where they come from, what makes them so compelling. Then we'll eat and drink and enjoy the fading light.
Thomas Morgan will be our guide through the wines, the villages represented, and how each one fits into the Beaujolais region as a whole. Thomas has worked for importer Kermit Lynch for nearly a decade and maintains an intimate knowledge of these wines. He has a delightfully disarming presence, too. So no b.s. Just great wines with tasty burgers. A rare chance to taste these wines all together.
